Lizelle Du Toit
Guest Speaker

Lizelle du Toit’s passion is to position companies and individuals strategically; in line with their true and unique DNA. Lizelle has been advising South African and International companies on their strategic communications, with specific focus on Investor Relations for approximately 12 years. Her expertise includes reputation management, media relations and communication strategies surrounding listings as well as mergers and acquisitions.

 

Before finding Acuminate, Lizelle joined Instinctif Partners as Senior Consultant in March 2014 where she later became Associate Partner and successfully built the company’s Real Estate franchise while managing the Capital Markets team with the Managing Partner.

 

She started her career as an Investment Advisor at Absa Investment Management Services in January 2000 where she gained customer relationship and investment advice experience before she joined Investec Private Bank and later moved to the Treasury and Specialised Finance division as a Junior Forex Trader.


From Investec she moved to Neural Capital Trading as Assistant Fund Manager before she joined Harmony Gold as Investor Relations Officer where she gained extensive Investor Relations experience. Her experience includes managing the Marketing and Donor Relations at Vastfontein Community Transformation.

 

Lizelle holds a BCom Law, majoring Economics and an Investment Management Honors degree at University of Johannesburg.
