We met on Friday, 7 March 2025 at Gabriella’s Tea Room in Johannesburg, and our guest speaker ass Liesl Eksteen, and her topic “LAYING DOWN ARMS”.
What are the “unwritten, unspoken” things upon which your peace or security in 2025 depends?
“Letting go isn't always like a leaf dropping from a tree or a feather falling from a wing, but more like an angel being wrestled all night or a battle raging deep within.
Sometimes inside the task of letting go, there is a dying hope, once full of life and tightly held, finally released in peace.”
~ Susan Frybot ~
It was a small & intimate gathering and what a beautiful morning of surrender - laying down our arms and finding true peace!
Together, we loosened our clenched fists and raised a “white flag” to God’s terms of peace!
We shared hearts, grew in faith and strength, and uplifted one another as women, in life and business!

JOHANNESBURG, GAUTENG
We met on Friday, 15 November at Gabriella’s Tea Room in Johannesburg and were blessed by the message and testimony of our guest speaker Kemi Olatunji. Her topic was “YOU CAN HAVE IT ALL!”
What comes to your mind when you think of this statement? Anger, fear, scoffing, disbelief, joy, hope, faith?
"He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?"
Romans 8:32 (ESV)
Kemi shared an insightful and meaningful message on the story of Bathsheba, the power of God's promises, and the importance of studying and spending time in God's Word! It doesn't matter what happened in our past, what we believe of ourselves, the season we are in, or what others say or think of us! We can have it all, and we have it all through Jesus Christ, our Saviour and Friend!
He is our healer, provider, protector, and everything we need!

Authority is necessary. It’s supernatural. It’s divine order.
“Let every soul be subject to the higher powers. For there is no power but from God: the powers that are, are ordained by God.”
Romans 13:1
Ronnet shared with us what it means to have authority and to act in our authority as women in the workplace. Whatever the circumstances of our lives, careers, or business, or the decisions made in the government or earthly rule, God is firmly and eternally in control. He uses each one to forward His perfect purpose and plan, to hone and strengthen our faith, and to draw us into closer fellowship with and dependence on Him.
There is no strength but that given by God, in whom life and strength are eternal. He is our only Source!
We are godly women who speak the Word, obey it, live it, and sing it with all our hearts, for the glory of Christ our Lord!

PRETORIA, GAUTENG
Our CWIB Business Circle event hosted on 23 August in Pretoria was a powerful gathering of business owners and career women from all industries and walks of life!
Thank you to all who joined us for an insightful business talk by our guest speaker Pinky Naicker with her topic “The Value of Reading” as entrepreneurs and leaders, encouraging conversations around the table, heartfelt moments, and powerful connections made!
We’ve heard it said that Leaders are Readers, and many of us embrace the exchange that being learned offers to our street-level theology and experience of life.
But as the days mount up and the demands/responsibilities of life add up, it can be quite difficult to prioritise the delights and benefits of devoting ourselves to the age-old wisdom of silence and solitude, to bury our hearts (and heads) in the written word—especially for insight and treasures that will affect our careers and businesses.
The conversation demystified the myth that not everyone is a reader like that and offered some practical insights from God’s word on how devoting ourselves to study can be exactly what we need to change the world.
Pinky truly ignited a passion for reading within us, highlighting the immense value and importance of being avid readers as businesswomen. Her insights reminded us that knowledge is power, and a well-read woman is unstoppable.
Let's continue to fuel our growth and success through the power of books!
Let’s not forget that the Word of God is the most amazing book ever written, filled with unmatched wisdom and guidance.
Let's continue to seek its timeless truths and apply them to our lives and in business every day.
Thank you to every woman who attended and to Blos Cafe for a beautiful venue!

Her words made a profound impact on us all.
"You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden"

We had an enouraging and impactful morning on Friday, 17 May 2024 at Blos Café in Faerie Glen, Pretoria. Our guest speaker was Lusanda Dhlamini, and her topic was "OWN YOUR TIME – A Guide to Life Balance."
Sometimes we feel we should be doing certain things, or doing things in certain ways, but maybe it is not best or even possible in our current season or circumstances. Sometimes we feel we should be doing more ...
It's not about adding or doing more. It's about doing what matters in your current season.
In Ecclesiastes 3:1 we read "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens".
BUT how do we design our days (life and work) to align with God’s will, to do what matters in our current season of life?
Lusanda gave a talk on “Own your time” and how to steward our time wisely and that no season is ever wasted! We have to know our current season, do the right things in our current season and do it in God’s time!
The HELPER - HOLY SPIRIT is available to help us to identify what is right for each one of us!

We gathered together for the second breakfast event on Friday, 10 May 2024 at The Riverside Hotel, in Durban North, Kwazulu-Natal!
Our guest speaker Sybil de Quintal, shared a powerful message and nuggets on "Hearing the voice of God!”
God speaks to us constantly, giving us all the information and guidance we need to be living in victory. It’s never the Lord who is not speaking, but it’s us who are not hearing.
Learning to clearly distinguish God’s voice, is invaluable. Instead of going through life and business blindly, we can have the wisdom of God to guide and protect us. But why do we have a hard time hearing His voice?
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. “
John 10: 27 NIV
God wants us, His sheep to hear His voice so that He can lead us and guide us. But how do we hear His voice, what is required of us to hear His voice and how do we discern the enemy's voice?

WESTERN CAPE - STELLENBOSCH

We met on Saturday, 26 August at Seven Sisters Vineyards! The guest speaker was Cerita Nagy, Founder of CWIB with her topic - How God Prepares Us!
How does God Prepare Us? What makes a woman strong?
God has a plan, a path, and a purpose for each of our lives. He also has a process to get us ready and it all leads us to our destiny. But this process requires trust and strength!
We celebrated Women’s Month in August and we celebrated strong women. Cerita shared her journey and wisdom, and into God’s revelation to get a clearer view of what His Word says about strong, godly women!

We met on Friday, 21 July at Blos Café, in Pretoria for the first Business Circle event in Gauteng. Our guest speaker was SUSAN MARAIS, with her topic COURAGE IN THE BATTLE!
As women, we are fighting battles on all fronts every day. Susan shared a 3-step Biblical Battle Plan that left us surprisingly lighthearted and unburdened. She took us back to scripture and shared some vulnerable and relatable stories from her own life.
Let's be courageous in life and in business!

WESTERN CAPE - SOMERSET WEST

We met on 2 June 2023 with businesswomen in Somerset-West for breakfast and our topic was FISHING IN THE WORLD OF BUSINESS with guest speaker Margaux Gaigher.
Margaux's life purpose is “To Teach and Tutor to TOUCH lives, significantly”. Therefore, wherever she goes, whomever she meets, and whichever client she works with in her business, Uluma HR, she wants to touch lives to make a significant difference.
God calls us wherever we are. We just need to obey like Simon and the other disciples did as they pushed the boat further into the sea and let down the nets, and when they threw down their nets and followed Him!
The good news of Jesus Christ is to be shared in the marketplace and with all we meet. If we are to be fishers of men/women, we need to think in terms of growing business for the Kingdom of God.
