We are humbled and grateful that He allowed us to gather, celebrate, and empower one another in His presence.

This keynote was designed to encourage and inspire women navigating leadership and business today.

Positioned for Purpose. Empowered by Voice was presented by Salomé van den Berg, and it was a powerful and thought-provoking session exploring confidence, influence, and the unique role women play on the mountain of business.

Drawing inspiration from the biblical account of two women in the Bible, this keynote was insightful, encouraging, and renewed confidence for the season the women were in.

This was a meaningful and uplifting moment within the Expo program! It was a moment of guidance, wisdom, and encouragement, designed to strengthen our walk in both faith and business. With authenticity and insight, Salome spoke into the realities of being a Christian businesswoman, inspiring clarity, confidence, and renewed purpose.

MEET SALOMÉ

Salomé van den Berg is a business consultant, keynote speaker, and prophetic intercessor with a deep calling to see women thrive in both faith and influence. She is the Owner and Managing Consultant of Exult Consulting, where she partners with leaders and organisations to bring clarity, alignment, and sustainable growth at the intersection of strategy, culture, and purpose.

With more than two decades of senior leadership experience across marketing, brand strategy, and business transformation, Salomé has worked in complex corporate environments spanning FMCG, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, mining, and professional services — both locally and internationally. Her journey includes executive leadership roles and global consulting experience, equipping her with a rare ability to translate vision into practical, high-impact action.

Alongside her business work, Salomé is a BeStill facilitator, having facilitated silent retreats for over ten years. These sacred spaces are designed to help leaders slow down, listen deeply, and realign with God’s voice — a rhythm she believes is essential for men and women carrying responsibility and influence.

As a prophetic intercessor, Salomé carries a particular heart for God’s Church and for women operating in the Mountain of Business. She is passionate about helping women lead with integrity, courage, and spiritual discernment — stewarding influence without losing their identity, peace, or calling.

Salomé lives in Lanseria with her husband and three daughters, surrounded by the joyful chaos of two horses, two dogs, a cat, and two bunnies. She believes deeply that faith and leadership are not separate callings — but one integrated life, lived intentionally for the glory of God.

Aligned with the Growth & Scale Corner, the CWIB EXPO will host a powerful Business Development Workshop designed to help businesswomen assess, prepare, and position themselves for the next season of growth and scaling.

The Next Step: Scaling Readiness Workshop was created for Kingdom-minded businesswomen who are asking:

Am I ready to grow or scale my business?
What skills do I need for the next level?
What resources should I have in place?
Who do I need around me to grow well and sustainably?

In this practical and faith-filled workshop, we explored what it means to prepare for growth - not just in business strategy, but in leadership, mindset, systems, and stewardship.

What the attendees gained from this workshop:

Clarity on whether you are ready to grow or scale
Insight into the skills and capacity required for the next level
Understanding of the resources and support you need
Guidance on building the right team and partnerships
A faith-based perspective on preparing for growth as a Kingdom businesswoman

This workshop was not about rushing the process — it was about wisely preparing for what God is calling you to next.

Women attending the workshop had direct access to the Growth & Scale Corner, where they engaged in one-on-one conversations with trusted service providers, receive guidance and wisdom, and explore potential business relationships and next steps.

Karabo Ramookho is a leadership and team cohesion coach with over two decades of experience helping people lead better, build stronger teams, and grow thriving businesses. As the founder of Khokhoon Coaching, she works with leaders at all levels—from first-time managers to seasoned executives—guiding them to lead with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Her coaching is grounded in the belief that people are the heartbeat of every business. She specialises in leadership development, team cohesion, and small business support, using practical tools and facilitation methods to shift culture, spark innovation, and build accountability.

Karabo is a certified professional coach and accredited in the Five Lens Enneagram, helping individuals and teams gain deeper insight into how they show up, collaborate, and grow together.

With a background in sales and marketing in the financial services sector, she brings a commercially minded, results-focused approach—balancing strategy with empathy. She also partners with a carefully selected team of professionals to deliver top-tier, customised services to all of Khokhoon’s clients.

Whether supporting leaders through change, aligning teams, or scaling impact, her mission remains the same: to grow leaders who grow others.
