Annatjie van Zyl is a distinguished expert in leadership development, emotional intelligence, and personal growth. She currently serves as the Director of Training & Facilitation at Tall Trees Profiles, is a partner at EI Activator LTD, and is now also contributing her extensive experience to the REBOOT team. Originally trained as a mineralogist, Annatjie's passion for appraising the unique properties of minerals has evolved into studying the unique characteristics of humans. She believes that growing human potential and strong relationships are foundational to success in life. Life can be challenging, but she believes in the power of resilience, perseverance, and change. Teaching, coaching, and facilitating principles that challenge and improve limiting beliefs energize her.

This passion has driven her journey with Tall Trees Profiles and the EI Activator. It has been her privilege to train the trainers, leading to hundreds of Tall Trees coaches. Her work experience spans primary school children, teens, young adults, corporate, school, and church leadership, and families. Annatjie has completed a Master of Arts in Positive Psychology from North West University, further solidifying her expertise in fostering human flourishing and working hard to live up to her personal motto: "Don't just live; grow!" Colleagues describe her as wise, knowledgeable, humble, authentic, approachable, caring, supportive, patient, an excellent listener, and an exceptional facilitator. She demonstrates an involved, educated, kind, and friendly approach.

Annatjie's "WHY" statement encapsulates her motivation: "Everything Annatjie does, she does to learn, grow, and reach her full potential, so that others can benefit and/or grow too, and through it honor the Lord who made her." Her core life themes highlight her passion for teaching, growth, supporting others, conceptual thinking, and integrating faith and purpose. She actively applies her spiritual gifts in her work by connecting psychological principles with biblical truth.
